The editor and authors have made a sincere effort to insure the accuracy of the information contained on this website, as well as make this website kid safe. With that in mind, please note the following.

Reporting content problems:

A great effort has been made to create a website that is appropriate for younger students. I feel the blogs are currently set up in such a way as to protect them from inappropriate postings. However, the nature of the internet forces us to remind parents and other users that we are not responsible for the content of third-party web sites. Parents, please monitor your children's web experience.

You can report abuse or inappropriate links to the webmaster. State why you feel the link is not suitable and provide the URL to the offending page (just copy it from your browser and paste it in your email).

Disclaimer:

The editor and authors assume no liability for any incidental, consequential, or other liability in connection with the use or misuse of the information provided on this website or websites linked to this website. All risks and damages are the responsibility of the user.

Also, pardon me for stating the obvious, children should be monitored when performing experiments or activities that involve using potentially harmful materials and tools.

Product endorsements & advertising:

Tree Frog Journal and Eclectic Science Network do not accept advertising. Brand name identification and links to product websites does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or recommendation of any product. Brand names are identified for purposes of full disclosure of the methods, materials, and techniques used when performing experiments or observations. Any positive or negative comments about a product or service are based on our experience with that product or service.

Funding, donations, and grants:

Tree Frog Journal and Eclectic Science Network are not nonprofit organizations for tax purposes, and so do not accept direct donations for projects (although we appreciate the thought). Grant money and other donations for projects are handled through my school district, because those funds are used directly in the classroom. However, the websites and all costs related to them, including the computers, software, and equipment used to create them, is funded by me, Jared Graham, from my personal resources.

I provide the names of all grant and third party funding sources in the sections that were funded by them.
